NBS Films Updates

just to let you guys know, that The budget for Birth of the Wolf is looking very hopefull, we will be reloading the push again on indiegogo (last time) before we call it a day, we have 2 options depending on the budget, option 1, we produce the trailer, option 2 the feature film, i believe with the feature we can shoot it all in 30 days, as the scenes are all pretty standard the budget is mainly for the crew(camera,makeup,lighting)/ equiptment / props / we will have a lot of volunteers on site and will welcome anyone else who wants to be involved (just visit the NBSfilm site and send us a email) http://nbsfilms.yolasite.com/ or follow and tweet us @nbsfilms as you can see were not hard to find,

Short Summary

Charles is an aging Hitman, he has been killing people for as long as he can remember, from being in the army to the present day contracts, however there becomes a time when the straw breaks the camel’s back and Charles feels depressed and decides he needs help, not knowing where to turn he finds Mary who is a Physiatrist. A London Soho based gangsters daughter decides to live the double life of pretending to be daddy’s little angel to a typical party girl who loves to indulge in drink, drugs and guys which ends her in hospital and eventually dies. everyone is to blame including the doctor who was treating his daughter, who also happens to be the husband of Mary who witnesses the murder and becomes a witness. Charles is now the hitman hired to take out Mary his physiatrist and the person he feels is helping him the most.

Childrens Audio Book

We have come up with a concept of trying to produce a series of audio books for children, ive wriiten the first script titled Flying high and dry,
the character is a green Dragon called David, who is curious, helpful but always gets things wrong but eventually it works out in the end (as it always does)
so the script is written and just waitng to see if its a go, if so expect to read (hear) more, till then

I know you guys already know what ive been doing, i guess this is a re-cap, there are a few ideas jotted down for some short films i want to do, and there is 3 for features i will eventually write, (one of them is so epic i'm acually supprised it hasnt been done yet, but anyway)

Were (FarmboyRecords) currently focusing on 2 albums to bring out for 2013, were behind in work ( mainly due to me filming and writing) but i dont cave under pressure, so were all go here and i look forward into giving you all of part 2, if your wondering why there isnt a farmboyrecords site, its due to a revanmp and unavailable time, however please be patient as one is being put together.

Embarking on new adventures

When you have been doing something for so long, even if you love it, sometimes you have to switch it up a bit, ive set myself  10 year plan in switching up tactics and moving forward, I cant really go into much detail about it, but lets just say i will be going back to school to enable to get qualified to do what i want to do,

some people when they start life/college /school know what they want to be as a career choice, i had an idea but i knew it wasnt for me, i did try it but naw, anyway ive just realised what i wanted to do, and i enjoy doing it now but i want to do it properly, not just for fun, ive always been a creative person but ive never had anyone guide me through the process of making the creative side come alive.

well as they say your never to old to learn (no im not telling you my age) so just remember whatever you want to do in live there is always a way, it might take time to get there but you will, dont always see what your doing now as the mean to all ends (unless your living your dream)

aight aight ive booked a studio for friday, the script writing is done until further notice, i need to get back into this, my brain is banging out beats i need to lay down, tried to holla at my Boy Demi-D to see if he want s to work on his project so i can kill two birds with one stone, either way there will some new beats uploaded up on souncloud, actually forget that i'll keep hold of them till Black2theBlock drops

Full Circle Script

Well ladies and gentleman, if just finished writing another script and submitted it to a company, so far i have written two full feature films, and i dont intend to write another for a while, i want to see where these take me and alsoi want to concerntrate on getting the trailer made for one of them. what i will do is update the NBSfilm website and see what happens next, currently busting my arse back to back working, but i have to take a timeout and holla at ya, keep a ear out, im coming

Its going to be a busy month or two, i'm really pushing my nose up on the grinding stone and this isnt all on one thing, I have a hand full of projects to deal with as will out help out a few compadres with their things to, most of all, i need my urban Horror script completed, production  (music) for Black2TheBlock, OST, (original soundtrack) get the cast and crew ready for rehearsels for Birth of A wolf, and buy a new house, lots to do, so from the start of August you might see a drop in blogs,

His-Story

I just had one of the most interesting conversation with a good Nigerian friend of mine, and we were discussing history/life/morals etc some we agreed and some we didnt, the common factor that we did agree on was concerning the youth of today, i say concerning because i fear that a larger percentage of our youth (and i say our your because us as adults and role models are responsible for them, weather you like it or not we are all role models in some form) have slided from being grounded, i also feel the ambition in life is watered down, the level of dedication to a skill or a occupation has some what gone astray, dont get me wrong, sport and entertainment are all entertaining but not everyone can be a rapper/singer/football star, the emphasis on achieving these goals are thin unless your exceptional and even then your are prone to other factors, i'm not trying to crush dreams of youth trying to become famous and rich i wish them all the best, what i am saying is that, that life cannot be every ones dream, the focus on jobs which make a difference has declined, not every job should be focused around money and fame.

The job i do now is nothing to the Job i wanted to do when i was younger and has nothing to do with what i want to do in the future. if your between the age of 16+ and your reading this dont just read it thinking this guys a cunt and dont know shit, i'm going to make it, please know this I hope you do make it, and I hope you have a contingency plan (now if you have just called me a cunt and you dont know what contingency is then your the cunt)
develop your mind, push that wonderful brain that god gave you to the limit, let the world know you have arrived and your here to make a difference, remember the more you grow the more you are seen by others, dont let an adolescent attitude be your downfall, dont follow negativity and always conduct yourself in a proper manner, articulate your words and be presentable, there is a time and place to act a certain way,

the world can be yours for all the right reason, you may not listen now, but i promise you you will be saying the same thing one day to a youthfull person who was once like you, lets break the vicious cycle now and inject positive thinking and doing into our youth by leading by example.

New feature By Damien Swaby

Right im giving the heads up, 26th September Damien Swaby will be shooting his short film, ive been privileged to have been asked to put my pennies worth in, script supervise ans well as help with the lighting and play a part, wait a fucking minute thats a lot LOL jokes, me im happy to help plus i get to see work being done froma different perspective. im not sure on the title of the film but i when i do you will too.
plus i'll add it to my portfolio and progress forward, i'm still working on my urban horror script but the feedback so far has been good.

Last Nights Conversation

I was speaking to EMC last night/early morning about the direction that were going and what needs to be done, he and others feel im on the right path and its only a matter of time, however i beg the differ, i dont think i am where i want to be, its infront of me but i cant reach it just yet.
apart from a few more short films im  going to do, my main focus is to get this trailer made for Birth of A wolf.
EMC and I have also put some time aside for a music project that we need to do as well as the new mixtape that ive 90% finished for next year. Maybe he was right.

We shall see.
