Ive just book the studio for next Friday and am looking to complete 44.I.C mix tape, however i haven't decided on the cover as of yet, but if it drags out i will just put a temporary cover up.
so for today i have just completed 2 fresh tracks which might be on the God Body To The 7th Letter (G) Mixtape/EP.
The Mixtape will feature alot of Artists that we work with also any independent artists that want to present themselves. this Mixtape wont be completed until towards the end of the year (but knowing me before or A$AP)

No Compromise

Yeah its a reload of the Mixtape No compromise,
Ok what it is, is that next friday i'm hoping to finish the latest mixtape 44 .I.C so in order to the run up i've been advised to remind you guys that this isnt the first mixtape but technically the 14th (for previous mixtapes/features just check the blog history)
what you dont understand is ive been doing this since i was 16 years old, but anyway not to divert, if you havent downloaded the No Compromise Mixtape   and keep the link in your favourates as the new mixtape will be in the same location. but of course you know ill hit you up and let you know whats what.

1st day of recording

well we got started today, got to the studio, started of a bit rusty, then it picked up, managed to lay down 6 tracks with 3 interludes, there is 11 titled tracks left over the next 2 weeks, plus i have written some extras to beef it up but i think i will stick to the format.
overall it was a good start.
even though some of the time i just deleted the vocals and did them over, sometimes over 5-6 times, if i had spend the whole day there I'm sure i would of finished it and have it uploaded by now, but anyway i did more than planned and today was good.

Er no i'm not being cocky but confident.
had one of those days when your writting and everything just flows, cant wait for next week to start recording 44 I.C
also just ordered new Mic's etc for the new recording booth (under contruction) thats mainly for just recording from tracks that people send me to work on, while i use the pre-production studio for everything else, i have to work like this until i find a bigger location to have everything in the same place, then i wouldn't leave it.

so as well as the 44.I.C mixtape i have written enought material for a little EP prequal (TBC)
whiching is sounding nice.

also working on some remixes which i will be submitting to 2 labels, going to remix 2 tracks, one with 50cent and the other with RnB singer Case.
once done i will put them up out soundcloud and see who gets the most hits. which reminds me i need to update that more often, sorry.

ok thats me. the next blog will be about a new magazine that i will be involved with (just awaiting some more advice and tips also a meeting) all the journalists and photographers are in place ready to work, dont worry more details to be uploaded later, just keep in mind if your a business and you want to advertise your product dont hesitate to get in touch, its going to be worth it.

Back In The B**ch

ok jokes aside, heres the scoop, just came back from a trip to Mallorca. I had a 9 hour flight on the way back and i'm smashed but still have time for you (of course)
while i was away ,in spas,on the beach, smoking cigars, drinking etc i managed to shoot some footage for a little compilation video, (nothing special just some fun)
but seriously i did manage to write some serious lyrics, which wont be on the 44 Inch Chest mixtape but on the follow up,
i have already airmarked the diary for recording dates so expect it soon. were looking around April aight,
also end of april the sort film should be ready (must holla at swaby)

so for now this is me saying Peace!

Here We Go!

ok so whats new?
at the moment my bags are pack, cigars are packed, all the essentials eh, so i'm about to fly out but every night i'm still doing my bits and pieces.

Just submitted a script to a guy who does films for Disney but also makes short films for distribution, I submitted a script Titled Birth Of A Wolf which is about a dispressed Hitman who cant seem to get any of his work completed properly and decides to visit a shrink only to find out the shrink is his next target, well you get the picture so lets see if it goes ahead, if not i'll make it myself, believe.

Also the vocal booth is now moved and i will be recording vocals in a different location to the production place (even though the production studio has another vocal booth so i now have 2 locations to work from which is good.

so on return:

1. start recording the vocals for 44 inch chest mixtape
2. filming the short film The Run
3. have some remixes to do (soundcloud posts)

The rest i'll update you when its more near the time.

At the moment I'm still battling with a sore throat, so i cant record anything.

Also had a conversation with Emc who's has given me a fantastic idea of collating footage for a new video, and there was me thinking of getting some rest on holiday.

Perfectionist

Sometimes being a perfectionist delays the productivity of your work, this is a catch 22 right here.
see i pride myself on making sure that whatever i do i do the the best capability and work with what i have (as i self fund and have a limited budget) nether the less my creativity has to be 100%
I class myself as a producer, whether it is within film or music but more importantly a motivator, at the moment the industry is saturated with talent beyond belief but with the talent most (and this is with experience) lack direction, experience and motivation, its a typical case of books verses balls (my terminology).
Let me explain, a lot of smart (not necessary just educated) are ruled by what they have read whilst other have learned via trial and error, both are fundamental but if you don't have common sense your in a fail, fail situation, secondly you must treat every negative with a positive, let me explain or better yet give you an example.
Your a music producer and you are working with a artist that you know is good but can be better but is not living up to the dream that you in visioned, how are you going to turn it around?
The answer is very simple once you remove your arragance from the equation. always remember no one is better than anyone else and your never to old to learn something new.
so you still begging for the answer?
pay attention.
First find the the qualities that you liked, these will be the qualities that drew you to the person in the first place, then mould the person, use encouragement, you cannot keep telling a person "i dont like it do it again" you get nowhere beating someone down. there is nothing wrong saying you dont like something but tell them why, teel them what you need to see, give an example (even if you cant sing/rap/act use artist or actors as a reference) compare your artist to a artist they know (not to imitate but to encourage and feel the vibe of that artist/actor) once you have done this your artist will feel more motivated and will follow your lead, your productivity will increase and you will be rewarded.
you reward will be seeing your creativity become a relality.

so whats the reason for this blog? sick of people who just because they make music/film think they can speak to people a certain way, big deal your can make music or a film but there is more to a producer than the name producer.
